As the year draws to a close, we are happy to unveil our progress in Kincaidston. We earlier announced our contract win with South Ayrshire Council and Energy Agency to upgrade and improve properties for its residents.
The project has involved our expert team renovating the pitched and flat roofs of the blocks of flats and installing external wall insulation (EWI) to PAS 2035 standards. We are now nearing completion just in time for 2024, with considerable progress made.
A GMG representative said: “We love working with South Ayrshire Council and this, our second project with them, is going to provide a positive and lasting impact for residents. By upgrading the buildings and installing insulation, we are reducing residents’ energy costs, ensuring they are warm and are a pleasant environment to be in, while also doing our bit for the planet and helping the community reduce its carbon footprint.

We’ve been lucky enough to work with South Ayrshire Council previously, having carried out roof replacement and repair works on Southcraig School. We also have extensive experience working alongside councils to upgrade their facilities while ensuring minimal disruption to its users, like our work with East Renfrewshire Council on St Cadoc’s Primary School.
