We are thrilled to have secured another project with our long-standing partner, North Lanarkshire Council.
Starting in early March 2023, GMG will be renovating Firpark Secondary Additional Support Needs School in Motherwell.
The refurbishment, valued at £850K, will involve the entire building this spring, replacing windows, doors and rooflights.
GMG contractors will work in phases and around school schedules, ensuring no class time is disrupted and their main priority, as always, will be the safety of those using the facility while the renovations are made.
We at GMG are well-experienced in carrying out renovation works on sites that are still fully operational, ensuring the safety of those using them, like our work at Southcraig School in South Ayrshire.
Gary McGinn, Site Manager of the project, said: “We are pleased to be working with North Lanarkshire Council to deliver on a project that will improve the facilities for children at Firpark Secondary School. Our contractors will carry out the work and make sure everyone using the facilities will be able to go about their day-to-day lives without disturbance or fear for safety. We look forward to sharing pictures of the site once renovations are completed.”
