You may have noticed we’ve made a few changes to our brand recently. Since 1987, our expert team has been transforming commercial and residential properties in communities across Scotland. We are immensely proud of all we have accomplished and how we have grown as a company in the past three decades – and we wanted our branding to reflect that. So, to mark our 35th anniversary, we decided the next refresh needed to be us.
Opting for bright, vibrant colours, our new corporate logo is bold, distinctive and instantly recognisable. The four hexagons represent our areas of expertise – construction, renewables, maintenance and refurbishment – and appear as robust components that can either be separated or interlinked. Much like our services!
GMG remains a family-owned construction and contracting company that has evolved from a slating and plastering sub-contractor to a multi-trade main contractor with a growing turnover and extensive repeat business. Our new logo is inspired by GMG’s evolution and reinforces our high-quality and modern approach.
Gerry McGinn, CEO of GMG Contractors Ltd, said: “Moving as we are, where renewables and energy efficiency are top priorities, it is important our brand is synonymous with modernity and quality. This rebrand promotes all that GMG stands for – and, like our work, we are extremely proud of it.”
GMG has always been more than a construction company. We are committed to building strong foundations within our communities and supporting the current and future workforce. In September, we were awarded the prestigious Platinum accolade by Investors in Young People (IIYP) – the first SME construction company in Scotland to achieve this honour!
