We are already looking forward to the year ahead and are pleased to announce another contract win with South Ayrshire Council.
GMG Contractors Ltd will work on the flats in Kincaidston, Ayrshire as part of a 15-week project to improve the properties for residents. The project will involve renovating the flat roof and installing External Wall Insulation (EWI) to PAS2035 standards.
Work on the flats, which will kick start in February, is estimated to have an overall value of £1 million. GMG has previously worked with the local authority to renovate and rejuvenate Southcraig School in Ayr and are happy to be partnering with the council again to improve residents’ homes.
David McLay, who will be heading up the site team, said: “We are looking forward to working alongside South Ayrshire Council again to deliver life-changing refurbishment works to the local community. The installation of EWI will improve the look, quality, and environmental performance of these Kincaidston homes, all the while reducing energy costs to residents, which is always rewarding.”
