GMG Contractors are Fully Accredited to the Following Standards:

The ISO: 9000 family of Quality Management Standards were globally designed and introduced to assist organisations and ensure that they meet the needs and requirements of clients, while meeting both statutory and regulatory requirements of a particular program.

One of our main objectives within the GMG Group is to raise the standard in all areas we work – to strive for perfection within our industry, for the last decade. GMG have focused on three particular areas of the Quality Management with stringent external auditing from an award winning international certification body.

ISO 9001:2008 (International Quality Management)

ISO 9001 is based upon seven core Quality Management Principles (QMP)

ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management)

GMG Introduced the ISO 14001 standard as we take our Enviromental Responsibilities very seriously.

Constructions biggest environmental problem is the wastage of material. By continually finding new ways to recycle material and working closely with the Innovation Centre at Strathclyde University, GMG are assisting to not only reduce our own carbon footprint but also assist on finding new ways to improve the industries KPI’s on waste.

OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety)

OHSAS 18001 is an internationally applied British Standard for Health and Safey management. It’s primary objective is to put in place and action demonstrably sound practices for a company to utilise in all aspects of health and safety.

It should not be forgotten that the Construction Industry has improved significantly over the last three decades on both Health and Safety sectors.

However, with a bespoke written and developed system, GMG aim to continually strive to ensure all our staff, and those around us, are safe and healthy in their workplace.
