A sheltered housing complex in South Lanarkshire will receive a £200,000 transformation, with the refurbishment being completed by GMG’s expert team.
Residents at Glebe Gardens, in Lesmahagow, will benefit from the upgrade works after South Lanarkshire Council awarded the contract to GMG following our recent successful completion of work at Kirkconnell Drive, and upcoming Kilncroft Terrace project.
Contracts Manager, Gary McGinn, will be heading up the work at Glebe Gardens: “We are really excited to be working in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council on this sheltered accommodation contract.
“This project is based within a lovely, close-knit community which GMG is honoured to be working within and getting to know.”
The site is a purpose-built development with 15 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom cottages, offering private gardens, a communal lounge and laundry facilities.
“We cannot wait to see the difference these upgrades make to the homes and to the people within such a pleasant complex,” added Gary.
