We are thrilled to be collaborating with F3 Surveyors on our first project for Viewpoint Housing Association.
GMG have commenced extensive roofing and stonemasonry work in the capital for our new client, and are enjoying working alongside the reputable F3 surveyors in delivering this project. Various upgrades will be carried out at Cameron Crescent including re-slating, flat roofing, lead work, dormer window repairs, stone masonry refurbishments, surface finishes, preservation works and decoration works.
The age of this historical building means that this job entails traditional methods of construction to be implemented, providing a perfect opportunity for our apprentices to experience refurbishment in this unique manner, learning new skills and demonstrating GMG’s diversity in delivery.
Scaffolding has been erected, including detailed internal crash decks, to ensure the safety of our skilled workers, as they operate from height. GMG are committed to maintaining the highest possible safety standards for our employees and members of the public alike who access our sites, and are dedicated to achieving a construction industry free from injuries and work-related illnesses. A GMG representative said: “Every project we carry out has the potential to improve a resident’s life. Providing Cameron Crescent with a watertight roof is critical, especially as we look forward to the autumn, and improving the aesthetics of the building will help to restore the building to its original glory. We look forward to finishing our upgrades for Viewpoint Housing Association, and will share pictures in due course of the finished transformation.”
