GMG has won a contract with South Lanarkshire Council to conduct repairs
in a multi-property project in East Kilbride.
The work will be carried out over a 30 week period which started in October
2023, and involves upgrading the external fabric of six blocks of flats in the area.
The large scale project, which includes a mixture of two, three and four storey blocks, involves GMG teams accessing each building and carrying out repairs and maintenance specific to each property. Upgrading the buildings involves replacing roof tiling, roofline and rainwater goods, as well as renovating the exterior roughcast, decoration works, and installing cavity wall insulation.
As a result of this work, residents will enjoy increased energy efficiency
as well as a more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment.
