Published: 24 September 2025

GMG is proud to announce that we are now recipients of the prestigious RoSPA Order of Distinction, recognising an outstanding record of 17 consecutive Gold Awards. This award highlights our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest possible safety standards and our dedication to creating a construction workplace free from injuries and work-related illnesses.

The Order of Distinction is one of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) most prestigious accolades. It is presented to organisations that have achieved a minimum of 15 consecutive Gold Awards, demonstrating consistent excellence in health and safety management. With an international reputation, this honour places GMG’s safety standards on a global stage and is a tremendous achievement for the entire team.

A GMG representative said:

“The team is honoured to have been recognised with the RoSPA Order of Distinction. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the health and safety of our workforce, believing every person has the right to come home safe after a day at work.

“While we are delighted to receive this accolade, it doesn’t mean we can rest. We continue to work hard to maintain and improve our high safety standards, delivering continuous health and safety training for our workforce, ensuring all our sites are safe places to work, with the aim of achieving a construction industry with zero injuries and work-related illnesses.”

RoSPA has recognised GMG’s commitment to safety for nearly two decades, with 17 Gold Awards and now the distinguished Order of Distinction.

Safety remains our ongoing priority, and we will continue to invest in training and initiatives that ensure our people and sites remain safe.
