External refurbishment upgrades to a Grade A listed building.
This project required careful consideration and our expertise to ensure all upgrades were in line with the Grade A listed building. The complete upgrade saw us replacing the wet and dry rot timber and stripping existing felt coverings from Victorian cast iron gutter and re-line with high-performance liquid plastic.
Our expert team ensured the ornamental decorative lead rainwater goods followed the radius of the existing Victorian cast iron canopy.
We also worked on the timber decorative valance board, followed by a re-glazing, slating, steam standing roofing and work on the GRP Valley Walkway. Our team also installed a new safety line for maintenance access, as well as new access hatches.
We were delighted to restore and therefore capture the building’s history for years to come. As the property is a historic Grade A listed property, traditional methods of construction were essential.
