East Renfrewshire Council awarded the contract to GMG to renew
the roof at St Cadoc’s Primary School.
GMG’s work began in the school’s summer holidays to limit any disruption that could be caused. GMG carried out a renewal of the insulated flat roof, removing and replacing rooflights and resealing existing vents to ensure the space was water-tight.
By the time pupils returned to school for the new term, the roof was repaired and watertight. The insulation offered an added benefit of improved energy efficiency for the school.
