GMG secured three separate contracts with Lovell Homes to support their new build developments across central Scotland. GMG provided full roofing works on the properties, and began first at their development in Telburn Way, Bannockburn in February 2022. We were already working with Lovell Homes to provide roofing and roughcasting at their sites in Maddiston and Hogganfield.
We started in Bannockburn and our work involved more than 40 apprentices, helping them gain valuable experience as we completed 115 three and four-bedroom properties in a busy, thriving area. GMG is committed to training its young workforce and building the construction industry of tomorrow.
Working with young apprentices on this project, we helped them gain a work-related, competence-based qualification, which provides employers, industry managers and card schemes confirmation that the learner has the skills and knowledge needed to meet the nationally recognised standard to carry out their role.
Our specialist team worked efficiently and professionally to support the project’s completion.
